Josh and Angela checked into the hospital yesterday, Tuesday 11/18 at 2:00pm...by the time they got settled, watched a ‘chick flick’, had some yummy hospital dinner and Angela received 4 hours of fluids, her chemo finally began at 10:00pm...and ended sometime early this morning.
Angela spoke with the kids before bedtime last night, she told them that Dr. Blair said her hair would fall out in about 15 days, Camryn handed the phone to Hayden and ran to the calendar, she quickly returned and told mommy that she’d be “bald as a baby” on December 6th. The countdown has begun.
As far as today...thanks to advances in modern medicine, Adavan (mood relaxer and anti-nausea medicine) in particular, Angela has had NO nausea to speak of. However, she is VERY groggy.
As long as all goes well tonight, Dr. Blair says she can probably go home sometime Thursday.
Your prays and support are giving her immeasurable strength.
